1 cup brown sugar
1 cup grated chocolate
1/2 cup sweet [whole] milk
Set on stove & let cool

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs. (2 whites left for frosting)
1/2 cup sweet milk

mix with first part & add 2 cups sifted flour

Aunt Pit often assumes that any idiot knows what to do with the cake ingredients. For those of us who don't: Gather ingredients Preheat oven to 350°. Grease cake pan. Mix wet ingredients in a bowl. Mix dry ingredients in another bowl. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Pour batter into pan/pans. Bake about 30 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the cake is dry.
